MazdaSpeed 3 Confirmed in Canada

I was curious about these new beasts in Canada and wanted some more information. So I went to the dealership pretending I wanted one bad. They said the one they’re getting isn’t sold yet, so I put down a deposit (have to give to get). So, after a day of telephone tag, I’ve discovered three things:

  1. The MazdaSpeed 3′s are in Canada
  2. They are currently getting some finial assembly and adjustments. Expected to be done next week.
  3. It takes 10 to 14 business days to deliver across Canada

So, given that today is the 8th of September. The latest they will be ready for shipping is next Friday, the 15th. Worst case is they get around to shipping on Monday the 18th. So, the worst case delivery date would be between September 27th and October 1st (more likely 2nd, since the 1st is a Sunday). Those of you just dieing to get your MazdaSpeed 3, that’s the sweet spot in dates for you. Me, I’ll probably get my deposit back now.
