So I was really tried when I got home from work today. I took a quick nap up stairs. Then went down stairs to nap some more. I woke up in a panic that I had slept to long. I looked at the clock, 7:30! OMG I slept the whole night away and it was morning already. Thanking myself that I at least woke up without setting an alarm I go up stairs and had a shower. At which point I realize I still feel like crap. As I stand there tired, sore thinking about how horrible it was to sleep the whole day away… I realize something. What if… I didn’t sleep until 7:30AM… but 7:30pm…. I jump out the shower and quickly confirm that sleep is indeed a powerful drug.

Well today is a sad day of sorts. I withdrew from the TESL class I was taking. I could make up a ton of excuses for why; but, instead I’ll just say I’ve lost alot of my interest in traveling that way. I was attractive while I made little or no money working for a living. Thinks are now looking up in that regard, so it’s very feasible for me to afford to travel without having to finance it through working in those places. I may still look for an opportunity in the future to take TESL and use it abroad; but, for now I’m gonna work towards more leisurely travel at my own expense.

Well it has been a long time since I posted somthing for all you people who seem to continue to frequent my site. I figure I’ll throw you a bone or two. First, the basement reno’s are coming along nicely. I jack hammered a large section of basement last week and now my wrists are very stiff and sore. I’m looking forward to having a bathroom downstairs again, since I feel bad about sometimes waking my roommate up when I’m getting ready for work at 6:30. Oh well, we’ll get through it.
Most of the other aspects of the reno are going oky I suppose. It took a month to get three plumbers to give quotes. The last plumbers quote was so much cheaper than those other guys that we just HAD to take it. I’m not really worried about cheap work ending up being incorrectly done. I’ve actually used these guys in the past when we live on the acerage (well my parents did, I supervised). They’ve been great to work with so far; but, they seem to require me to meet them here to explain the exact same thing over and overagain :S
Regina has been alright I suppose. I planted a garden which has now turned to grass. I guess I was so excited to turn up soil and grow stuff that I forgot to take Karen’s ever useful “Site Preperation Course”. Now I’d round up the grass, but it’s been raining almost every day SINCE I planted the darn thing. Hopefully this week has a sunny spot where I can get in and roll some raid on that evil grass.
