Clear Coat Protection For Your Car

So 4 months ago I bought a new Mazada 3. One of the options for my car was a clear coat for the paint. For about $350 they will spray a high density polyurathan wax on your car. I didn’t think it was a good investment, since I planned on waxing my car fairly regularly anyways.

First week or So

So I’ve been in Regina about 12 days now. My living arrangements are working out good so far. I’ve been busy at work with a project migrating a mysql on linux to mssql on nt2000. I’m planning on doing some reno’s to my friends basement in the near future as well. Make it a little more habitable. Thats all for now.

Dear Apple, In Regards to Quicktime

Dear Apple,

Could you please have quicktime remember the bloody volume I set it to? Nothing more entertaining that watching a set of short clips and you insist of setting the volume FULL BLAST for each one. It wakes the people in the next room, the people above me, and scares the shit out of the cats. Seriously, it’s not that hard to do the small things somethings… so whats the problem here? Need a case study? I’ll do one for free, all you have to do is ask.

Love,

James

When it rains it pours

So after accepting this job in Regina on Monday I have since gotten FOUR job interview requests. Some of them are even at places I know I would want to work at. Someplace that going to pay me what I’m worth. Read the rest of this entry »

Employed, Again

I am once again about to join the ranks of the employed. I’ve actually been in the process of getting employed with this specific company for a few weeks now, but I wanted to keep it on the down low. Last time I had a job interview people were asking all the time about it, not that I mind; but, it’s alot of effort to repeat the same story about the interview, the company, etc to everyone I know. This time I kinda just got the job then started talking about it. Seems to be working out good so far. On the downside, I have to move to Regina, which is 250km south east of Saskatoon.

Upgraded

I upgraded to WordPess 2.0.1. Everything seems to be working, but if you notice something is broke please let me know. For those interested, the interface is slightly better and possibly faster for most stuff. I haven’t looked at the new plugin API, but it’s supposted to be so amazing that you roll over and die (no, that was not sarcasm).

Interesting Tidbit

Sometime ago I was reading a blog that asked, “Why do people bother to block out their license plate numbers when their car is in it?” He mentioned how we display it publicly on our cars and drive around all the time, so why bother blocking it when you post on the internet. Well… I think I found a reason not to.
