You ever felt like your stomach is going to escape from your belly and tell you to stop eating ice cream?

You ever eat something and later think… that was a dumb idea?

Well wonder to more! Icecream can do all those things and more!

Oh… now back to getting ready for work.

Just went you thought you've seen it all

I have to wonder why someone would do this. Why would they think this make me hungery… or want food at all. Perhaps this is an example of marketing gone bad… very bad, but amusing… enjoy

Double Your Pleasure…

Now I've seen some funny signs in Saskatoon before. Most of them in the hands of pan handlers. Yesterday I saw a sign on the way back from the north end that was too funny to pass up. I went back today to take a picture and order what was on the menu.

When I first ordered to the two teens it was business as usual. I then asked what they would be wearing and where I pick them up. The girl (who I believe was a teen) gave me a blank stare. One of the other girls at work was already giggling. I felt bad for the girl, so I attempted to explain what was so funny… but she seemed to dense to understand. I cancelled my order for the teens and ordered the chicken grill (beef bad, chicken good). While I was waiting someone in the drive through ordered two teens as well. The girl helping them relpies, “So you just want two teens then?” I broke out giggling like a school girl. Ah yes, it's always an adventure with me.

Strange…

Jen noticed the other day how we are both INTP or something (I think thats it, I'll have to check). This color thing seems strikingly simular to that as well. What color are you Jen? :P

you are palegreen
#98FB98

Your dominant hue is green. You're logical and steadfast, focused on figuring life out and doing what makes sense. You value being trusted because you know you're taking the time to figure things out and everyone should just follow you.

Your saturation level is lower than average – You don't stress out over things and don't understand people who do. Finishing projects may sometimes be a challenge, but you schedule time as you see fit and the important things all happen in the end, even if not everyone sees your grand master plan.

Your outlook on life is bright. You see good things in situations where others may not be able to, and it frustrates you to see them get down on everything.

I have no idea what they are saying, but damn it's hot. Well, maybe it's just me. Or maybe it's girls in uniform… I'll never know.

Flying Monkies and Dead Beavers!!!

Oky… I have to warn you… that if you ever download the best of the 80's mp3 collection you will not stop listening to music with bad synth for a long time. Even funnier is synth drums, and really cheesy voice filtering. Man, I miss the 80's, I could wear neon pants and fit in. Anywho… my mom was up this weekend. She came up to watch the Yorkton Paper Bag drama group at some festival. Wasn't too bad actually, makes me want to join a community drama group. ( want to hear some synth? Get Dolce vita by Ryan Paris ) Work has become somewhat depressing these last few weeks. I've noticed that my attitude has shifted for the worst… I don't think I'll be there much longer. I kind know when I'm getting close to leaving a job before I make that descision. I'm gonna start applying everywhere for jobs again, this time I'll even follow up.

Oh right… me and Andrew have been in a cold war since last week. I don't know why, but we're both just disagreeing on alot of stuff. I think part of it is has to do with me taking over the kiosk project. I know he didn't like working on it, but he ends up working on it anyways. Part of the problem is that I've openly said that some of the stuff he did for the project wasn't done well or even finished. I'm not mad at him, cuz I understand that the reason for it being that way is lack of time. Everything about this project is moving screwed up. I'm getting more tempted to rewrite majar parts of it, but I know I won't get any compensation for it at all :( I suppose a $1000 bonus for getting a 100 copies out the door is oky, but I've already put in over 50 extra hours in this project. Plus I've setup three kiosks for them and have yet to be paid.

My gf and I are getting along rather well. We talked about August (probably more like January now cuz of the SIAST strike). When she finishs her program she has to work in Weyburn for one year. Mean while, I have this house in Saskatoon and just put over $20,000 into it. If I move with her to Weyburn or Regina, then I'll either have to sell this place at a considerable loss, or rent it. I'd have to rent it for ~$800 a month to break even. I don't think that would be an unreasonable price to rent the place for, you could comfortably fit 3 people in this place. I think I have a friend who will be looking for a place to rent soon, I'll consider getting a roommate again and then possibly handing it off to him if I end up moving.

Another thing thats coming up lately is my desire to teach english in Korea. I found out that I can definatly goto Korea without my TELSA. Which means I'm just an interview away from getting a job that pays $2200 US month plus a place to live. If I could get someone to rent this place while I was gone, I could probably pay off my mortgage in 6 months. There are a few problems with that of course… the bank kinda doesn't like the idea of me working abroad. I'd have to refiniance at a higher rate or pay it all off before I left for more than 3 months. If I could work there for 8 months, I would be very well off when I came back. I think renting my house for 8 months (the length of Regular session at the university) wouldn't be too hard. $800 a month is a good deal (actually it would be less, cuz I'm including power, water and gas, In theory those could be cheaper). It would be more like $650 a month. That would pay mortgage and furance loan. Plus the unexpected repairs fund, which if not used ends up being $3000 a year or so. That's not bad (nor is it great) returns on $100,000…

Sigh… well thats it. I'm going to Korea. Fuck it, I need to live now. If I hold back I'll just be mad at myself in ten years. I'll tell work on Monday and start getting my place ready for renting next week. I still have to find out where I go to apply for these jobs in Korea. My understanding from the people I talked to is that it isn't very hard to get one lined up.

6 movies on a dvd… nice

Oky, so I joined this mail dvd rental thingy. http://zip.ca. Lots of new stuff and some good old stuff too. I have 17 dvd's lined up for renting. I'm trying to get through them as fast as possible. It's funny thou, it just occured to me that I can fix 6 movies on one dvd if I encode them in xvid. Thats alot of movies. Now I see why some particular bodies are so interested in DRM… not that I'm actually copying these movies. I watch them and mail them back while at work of course. Need something to pass the time. Anywho, nothing else fun to talk about.
